Calling all $EGLD Stakers: Voting for the governance call on Sirius (1.6) release begins tomorrow at 19:00 UTC! After a 9-week discussion window on Agora and the extensive feedback received from the validators who got involved in the testing phase, we are ready to move forward with the Sirius mainnet release governance proposal. Every user with staked EGLD is eligible to participate and vote for the proposal that will bring tens of new important features and additions to the MultiversX protocol, some of which have been in the works for over 1 year. Although the voting happens on-chain, the full governance system implementation is not yet in place. Sirius will enable it and will open the process to anyone willing to submit proposals, as well as enforce a deposit fee, set a higher quorum, and allow liquid staking users to participate. Quick rundown of the proposal: šŸ”¹ Up to vote: DNS v2, VM 1.5, Multikey, and many other improvements packed in a single release šŸ”¹ Duration: 23 November - 3 December šŸ”¹ Eligibility: EGLD staked From now on, the community will vote for each new substantial change occurring to the protocol, as part of our long-term progressive decentralization efforts.
